The studio is at 204 Spooner Lane in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. A 2025 sampling of Kenny’s projects covered Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee and South Carolina.

What kinds of projects does the studio take on?

What does a Town Architect do?

A Town Architect, or Director of Design, creates a development’s standards, selects approved product manufacturers and vendors, sets up design review procedures, and reviews construction as it happens. Kenny serves in this role at the South Main Neighborhood in Buena Vista, Colorado.

What does the studio do on a charrette?

Kenny has been a charrette team member for mixed-use developments around the country. What is a re-skin?

A re-skin is a redrawing of the exterior elevations of a house or building to improve its design, composition and detailing. The studio works from schematic, conceptual or existing designs. A pattern book helps establish and define appropriate details and design characteristics for the local historic architecture of a region, town or community. It can also set desired standards for architectural character and quality in a development, and it gives direction to architects, builders and owners.

Does the studio work on historic in-fill in Charleston?

Historic urban in-fill is one of the studio’s specialties. In Charleston the studio was the architect of Tu at 430 Meeting Street, and Kenny was involved in the design of two houses on Catfiddle Street, an in-fill pocket neighborhood downtown.
