Yellow lap siding and a pale metal roof make Cannon House easy to find against the dark hillside behind it. The building steps back in several gabled masses, and a tall stacked stone chimney climbs one side from the ground to above the ridge.
Toward the street, a white bay window projects from the corner next to a porch on stone piers, stepping down to the walk over a base of rock and planting. A shed dormer breaks the blue-toned slope of the roof with a pair of windows.
From above, the back of the lot shows a small outbuilding with its own metal roof, tucked inside a wood fence.
