This is a tall, narrow house that lifts its living floors above a paved court on arched piers. Dark gray clapboard wings frame a white center bay, and the far end rises to a shaped gable above a bracketed balcony and a heavy wood door.
The upper floors open up in light. Big banks of windows fill the living room under a wood ceiling, wood floors run through to the kitchen, and open shelves sit below exposed beams. A sunroom looks out over painted siding next door.
The two massing studies at the end show the roof, the gable and the balcony together.
