Green House

Sharp green lap siding and clean white trim give this South Main house a direct, plain front. The main gable faces the street, with a small porch and railed stair at the front door and a white band that breaks the wall between floors.

From the side, the long roof runs back in a simple line against the dark mountainside, with a wood fence closing the yard. The interior is one long open room, with a dining table under a linear hanging light and the kitchen and its bright windows at the far end.
