Restaurant Design Review

As Town Architect and Director of Design, the studio reviewed a proposed restaurant for compliance with the Neighborhood Design Guidelines and general principles of traditional architecture. To illustrate the concerns, the studio drew an alternate elevation from the same floor plan. The re-skin simplifies the massing and composition and gives the individual elements better scale and proportion. The result was a scheme less expensive and less complex to build, and a better looking one.
