House above rows of vines with a bare hill behind

The house stands alone among vineyards at the foot of a bare hill, and it answers that open ground with a simple, solid block. Ochre walls rise under a low red tile roof with wide eaves and two tall chimneys. Metal balconies mark the upper windows, and a row of arched openings runs along the low terrace wing.

The drawings show each side of the house, with its stepped terraces meeting the slope, and floor plans that sit the rooms inside a curved drive. One more photo looks across rows of bare vines to a long mesa.
