Sundance is a family owned building with a family owned business on the ground floor. The residents of the two bedroom upstairs unit also own and operate the shop downstairs. Sundance Leather was established in 1971.
This is one of the oldest ideas in town building, and the architecture makes it visible. A corner bay with dark trim marks the intersection, a balcony with flower boxes hangs off the upper floor, and a shopfront of dark painted wood and large panes sits at the sidewalk. Pale yellow lap siding carries around the building under a bracketed cornice, with narrow upper windows lining up over the shop below.
